3. KORNER Gourmet Burger Restaurant & Craft Beer Bar

If you ask Zurich locals where the best burger in the city is served, the answer is usually “the Korner”.

The elegant restaurant on the corner of Stockerstrasse/Gartenstrasse – hence the name – is a bright and cheery locale with high ceilings and dark industrial-style furnishings.

The menu promises gourmet burgers – and there are no fewer than 14 to choose from; the Alpine Star with Gruyère cheese, Mr Scoville with a very hot chilli sauce, and the classic Korner with beef, sauce and salad are just three of the specialities on offer. To accompany them there are home-made French fries, onion rings or the typical coleslaw salad.

In summer, guests sit on the small terrace in front of the restaurant and enjoy their tasty snack in the shade.

4. Helvti Diner

The menu at this eatery, situated between Stauffacher and Zurich Main Train Station, lists culinary classics from the USA: hot dogs, sandwiches, onion rings, French fries and, of course, burgers – made from prime Black Angus beef or exclusive Wagyu beef, a speciality from Japan.

It goes without saying that guests are free to refine their burgers just the way they like it. The choice ranges from Cheddar or blue cheese to bacon, guacamole or a fried egg. For dessert, there is – how could it be otherwise – a sweet milkshake.

With its red tables, shiny aluminium applications, and an artwork made from Heinz tomato ketchup bottles, visitors really have the feeling that they are in a genuine American diner from the 1950s.

The Beauty of Nature Travel

The Beauty of Nature Travel

Whether you call it nature travel, sustainable travel or responsible ecotourism, there’s something incredibly potent, powerful, and cleansing about getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The air smells sweeter, the sun burns brighter, the colours seem more vivid, and time almost seems to stand still. Whether we’re hiking, kayaking, watching wildlife or just enjoying a quiet picnic, there’s something about unspoiled nature that simply soothes our soul.

With Earth Day coming up April 22, people tend to start thinking and talking about nature conservation more and more at this time of year. But our goal is to encourage people to embrace the beauty of nature and wildlife all year around. So when some of our blogging friends discussed having a monthly themed blog carnival, we immediately volunteered to host a Nature Travel round-up this month to draw more attention to the joys of ecotourism.

So how does it work? Well, if you’re a reader, click on some of the links below to discover some great bloggers writing about some of their favourite Nature Travel experiences, which will hopefully inspire your future adventures. Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 850W Power Supply

In a category where the Corsair RM850x and the similar capacity Seasonic Focus Plus Gold dominate, Thermaltake offers an alternative option featuring RGB lighting, excellent performance, and quiet operation, which might not be as quiet as the RM850x, but it takes the lead from Seasonic's offering. In terms of performance, the Toughpower GF1 850W is close to the Corsair and Seasonic models mentioned above. Its primary disadvantage is the restricted availability, for the moment at least, since due to the recent tariffs, Thermaltake pulled it out from all major US online stores. Currently, you will only find it in the premium store at an eye-watering price.

Thermaltake's Toughpower GF1 ARGB line consists of three members with capacities ranging from 650W to 850W. They are based on a platform that is provided by Channel Well Technology. The fully modular cable design along with the 16.8 million-color RGB fan with the 18 LEDs are two features that most gamers will appreciate. The PSU's RGB lighting can also be synchronized with compatible mainboards from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, and ASRock.

When it comes to performance, Thermaltake claims that it is high enough to meet the demands of enthusiast users and overclockers, and the same goes for reliability. A ten-year warranty supports all GF1 models, providing an extended peace of mind to their future owners. Finally, the RGB fan comes with a Hydraulic bearing, which, along with the appropriate fan speed profile, can easily lower the overall noise output to below 30 dB(A) levels.

We will take a look at the strongest member of the line, featuring 850W of power. The GF1 850W is strong enough to support a potent gaming system. It also sports a quiet operation since it scores a LAMBDA-A- rating in Cybernetics' scale, which translates to a lower than 30 dB(A) overall noise output.

There are plenty of connectors to deliver the unit's full power with ease. Besides a pair of EPS connectors, you also get six PCIe ones along with twelve SATA and four 4-pin Molex. The distance between the peripheral connectors is ideal at 150mm, and all cables are long enough to allow the installation in large, full-tower chassis. Finally, there are no in-line caps, which will make the cable management and routing processes much more straightforward.
