1. IRO
The restaurant, Iroquois, in Zurich’s Seefeld quarter is an oasis of wellbeing and a popular meeting place on the left bank of Lake Zurich. Here residents, tourists, and friends alike meet in relaxed surroundings to enjoy simple but tasty dishes. Open throughout the day until late evening, the Iroquois is a restaurant and bar all in one.
Both the locale’s décor and its homemade dishes, made using regional produce, show great attention to detail. On the menu are juicy burgers, crispy salads, and delicacies from the grill – as well as snacks such as quesadillas or potato chips with various dips.
Incidentally, the Iroquois screens numerous sports events, and with its spacious terrace is a cozy place to relax, not far from Lake Zurich.
American Food and Burger in Zurich is their speciality. It also serves local food and drinks.

At any time of the day or night, there is always something going on at The Bite: the restaurant is invariably buzzing with young people, students, tourists, and locals. Hanging on the walls of the simply furnished locale are works by up-and-coming artists – which, incidentally, are also available for purchase.
Classic Bite, The Bacon, The Manchego, The BBQ, and many more: there are a total of 11 burgers to choose from, as well as a selection of homemade starters to go with them.
The atmosphere is relaxed and young, the burgers are fantastic and made with local products.

3. KORNER Gourmet Burger Restaurant & Craft Beer Bar
If you ask Zurich locals where the best burger in the city is served, the answer is usually “the Korner”.
The elegant restaurant on the corner of Stockerstrasse/Gartenstrasse – hence the name – is a bright and cheery locale with high ceilings and dark industrial-style furnishings.
The menu promises gourmet burgers – and there are no fewer than 14 to choose from; the Alpine Star with Gruyère cheese, Mr Scoville with a very hot chilli sauce, and the classic Korner with beef, sauce and salad are just three of the specialities on offer. To accompany them there are home-made French fries, onion rings or the typical coleslaw salad.
In summer, guests sit on the small terrace in front of the restaurant and enjoy their tasty snack in the shade.

4. Helvti Diner
The menu at this eatery, situated between Stauffacher and Zurich Main Train Station, lists culinary classics from the USA: hot dogs, sandwiches, onion rings, French fries and, of course, burgers – made from prime Black Angus beef or exclusive Wagyu beef, a speciality from Japan.
It goes without saying that guests are free to refine their burgers just the way they like it. The choice ranges from Cheddar or blue cheese to bacon, guacamole or a fried egg. For dessert, there is – how could it be otherwise – a sweet milkshake.
With its red tables, shiny aluminium applications, and an artwork made from Heinz tomato ketchup bottles, visitors really have the feeling that they are in a genuine American diner from the 1950s.

5. Gerold Chuchi
Marco Pero (Tram station, Restaurant Drei Stuben), Sebastian Woloschanowski (Tram station, Cafe Schober, Balthazar, but above all host with heart and soul) and the Hive managers have created a gastronomic oasis of wellbeing, combining the industrial charm of Geroldstrasse with first-class cuisine, and thus performing a fascinating balancing act between cult and pure indulgence.
